Experience And Knowledge

James is the Founder and Principal WHS Consultant of Perth Workplace Safety Consultants. He has worked over 10 years in senior WHS roles within the EPC Client Space, over 5years with contracting companies and since 2017 as an consultant.  James has gained experience spanning the manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, civil construction, rail, event management and local and state government sectors.

James has lead teams in conducting complex incident investigations, management system audits, high level risk assessments, and has tailored practical WHS management systems for diverse workplaces. 

His work is underpinned by strong ethical and moral values. James has a positive, hands-on approach and believes in collaborative solutions rather than a dictating, demanding or adversarial approach.

He possesses an exceptional ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. He also has the skills to swiftly assess the fundamental nature of inherent problems and propose practical solutions, utilising his admirable analytical and problem-solving abilities.
