Compliance to ISO Standards are conducted by third party assessors via a series of conformity assessments, checks, and audits. 1. Discuss the certification process that is involed with the ISO Standard

2. Gap analysis – determine areas that are not compliant with the ISO standard.

3. Develop and Implement systems to close any gaps identified.

4. Stage 1 Audit – Desktop review of the management system.

5. Stage 2 Audit – Field review of the implementation of the management system.

6. Certification – provided after successful completion of the audit (actions closed)
